Virtual Currency & In-Game Purchases
Applies to TrueNorthVegas.com services offered in Canada.
1) Virtual currency and virtual items
- Any virtual coins, credits, points, skins, boosts, or similar digital items (“Virtual Items”) are licensed to you for use within our services only.
- Virtual Items have no cash value and are not money, stored value, or a financial product.
- Virtual Items cannot be redeemed for cash, withdrawn, transferred outside the service, or exchanged for real-world goods or services unless we expressly state otherwise in writing.
- You do not own Virtual Items; you receive a revocable, non-transferable, personal licence to use them while your account remains in good standing.
2) In-game purchases and pricing
We may offer paid content such as Virtual Items, bundles, cosmetic items, passes, or feature unlocks. Prices and what is included are shown at the point of purchase (including any applicable taxes as required). Payment processing may be handled by the relevant app store or payment provider you use.
3) Subscriptions (if offered)
If we offer subscriptions, the renewal frequency, price, and cancellation method will be disclosed before you subscribe. Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled through your account settings or the platform where you subscribed.
4) Refunds and consumer rights (Canada)
- Refunds for purchases made through third-party platforms (e.g., app stores) are generally handled under that platform’s refund rules and processes.
- Where we process a purchase directly, any refund terms will be stated at the time of purchase and assessed case-by-case.
- Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under Canada consumer law (including the Consumer Protection Act and Competition Act) where applicable.
5) No real-money winnings; prohibited conduct
- Our services do not offer real-money winnings through Virtual Items.
- You must not sell, trade, or advertise Virtual Items for real money (including via third-party sites), nor imply that Virtual Items can be cashed out.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in unauthorised trading, fraud, chargebacks abuse, or other prohibited conduct.
6) Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will apply from the date it is posted on TrueNorthVegas.com.
